Afternoon at the Lake

Curtis, Darcy and Clint Mcmillen joined us on the boat Sunday afternoon for some wet fun. The highlights were the rope swing (see Chris above); riding the tube and "mud sliding" in the Georgia clay (yuk!) We thank God for the sweet Mcmillen family and are grateful for their friendship!

Brady's Braves Birthday

Coach and Nean have made a tradition out of taking our boys to a Braves game on their 9th birthday and buying them a Braves jersey. They went to the Braves/Cardinals game which was a great choice because the Braves ended up winning, a rarity these days. Brady was the last boy to turn 9 in our family. The grandparents treated him royally (as usual) and even came home with doughnuts for everyone else for the next morning. Thanks Coach and Nean! We love you!

What have we been doing?

Yes, we're still here! Thanks for checking in on us. We have moved in our new house and have had a full summer. Highlights include our new neighborhood pool with slide, painting our new house, packing our old house, unpacking in our new house, painting our old house, Brady's 9th birthday, Kay-Kay and Pappa coming,Coach and Nean coming, Nean getting a new haircut, swimming with friends, painting the new house, painting the old house and don't forget painting the new house and painting the old house and Riley buying an electric guitar with his hard earned money
